mundigoana Stephan, no worries at all. i manually adjusted the pictures so no a big issue really. I was wondering if i could speak to you in a more private forum. would you mind to message me in twitter @mundigoana. Cheerspermalink
ozesteph1992 Hi, I'm very sorry that I didn't get back to you earlier, somehow your post went off my radar :-). Thanks for your feedback. Yes I've realised too that the copy& paste principle in Moolde 2.2 from 1 chapter to the other doesn't work. The image links are broken & one has to re-link the images manually. Someone suggested using Legacy course files. Apparently when you use them it behaves like 1.9. As you know the file system in 2.2 is very different to 1.9 and I think that's where the problem is.permalink
mundigoana Hi Stephan, your videos are fantastic. i am learning lots from them. much appreciated. I am working with adding the template to the book module in Moodle 2.2 and the images will no display in the book page. In the editor the headers and footers display, but not on the actual page. Any suggestions??permalink
ozesteph1992 Hi Sam I am very glad that the videos were helpful. I am planning to produce some more. Just completed another one on how to add an image to your Moodle profile.permalink
Samantha Hi there Stephan. I have just viewed your 2 videos and found them to be hepful and easy to understand. Thanks for the welcome - and I look forward to working through this course over the next few weeks. Regards, Sampermalink
ozesteph1992 Thx RedTwenty, I am pleased you found it useful. I am the other way around I need to spend some more time to investigate the lessons resource in Moodle, heard a lot of good things about it too. Yes you are right hiding means hiding ;-)permalink
RedTwenty Very nice! I have done similar in the past using lessons but I will certainly give the books a go in the future. The biggest take home from all of this is the "trick" of restricting the number of topics the student can see. Many people make the mistake of simply trying to hide the activity (clicking the little eye icon), but of course that removes access to the element also. Thank you for this great demonstration!permalink
