Romeo029 Hi Tom! I just want to ask how to add the articulate ribbon in Powerpoint 2010? I already saw it on File > Options > Add-ins (under the inactive application add-ins) but I can't seem to activate/add it on my powerpoint. Thanks a lot sir Tom. More powers. :) permalink
tomkuhlmann Didn't do any editing, so the sound you get is straight from the mic into the laptop.permalink
OwenKP Wow, thanks, I was just looking at spending double that for a new mic, but I think that might be the one, plus I love the case and how it can clip to a variety of different surfaces. I'm wondering though, what kind of editing did you do, if any, to the audio? I'm curious to how the sound is with no editing done, that is the real test of a mic for me.permalink
tomkuhlmann @suellausc you can use Handbrak (free) to convert to a different format.permalink
suellausc Hi Tom - As Flash isn't accessible in iOS mobiles, can the .avi be formatted in a more universal format?permalink
suellausc Thanks for this, Tom. I've just made my first talking head to use in a treasure hunt in our library this week. I'm really after an Australian text-to-speech tool, but am having difficulty locating one. I've been looking for some time, & have just stumbled on the link within Dell Avatar Manager to CrazyTalk - http://www.reallusion.com/crazytalk/ - & I'm hoping they may have an Aussie accent. Love your resources & ideas. Keep them coming please!permalink

laurie Is there any chance you have step-by-step instructions written out for this? REALLY want to figure out how to make this work, but this one moves pretty fast! Have tried asking the help desk, but apparently you're the only person who knows how to do this! :-)permalink
tomkuhlmann @ajschmidt: the video covers PowerPoint 2010 and in screenr you can choose the "old embed code" permalink
